About FleetNet America, Inc

FleetNet America, Inc. is a third-party vendor management company that coordinates emergency roadside service and maintenance management service for commercial equipment. FleetNet services primarily Class 3 through Class 8 segments of the commercial trucking industry, historically concentrating on un-scheduled emergency fleet repair needs.  Beginning in late 2005, FleetNet began concentrating on fleet contract maintenance needs with our TMcare program. This division includes our Material Handling Maintenance Management program. FleetNet America provides maintenance management by managing vendors and the maintenance process through specific customer requirements in our Roadside and TMcare programs 24 hours-per-day, 365 days-per-year.

FleetNet’s Roadside coordinators, who average more than 25 years of truck maintenance and repair experience, utilize a network of over 60,000 truck repair vendors to assist in providing vehicle repair and emergency road service throughout the continental United States and Canada. In addition to providing mechanical and tire service needs of our customers, FleetNet has a targeted service offering called “FleetNet Select Towing & Recovery Program” which addresses Non-Consensual Towing and Incident Management. Using the same Select Towing vendors, FleetNet developed a new program called FleetNet Vehicle Securement which promptly secures a fleet’s abandoned equipment minimizing the risks as well as the cost of undelivered freight and uncontrolled equipment. To handle non-emergency towing needs, FleetNet developed the Transport & Tow Quote program.

Scheduled maintenance for commercial equipment is managed under our TMcare program. This program encompasses the management and administration of all maintenance, handled through third party vendors for commercial equipment. FleetNet provides all elements of a fleet equipment maintenance program including the establishment and oversight of preventive maintenance programs. The purpose of TMcare is to manage vendor and the maintenance process, ensuring sound maintenance programs at every location nationwide, as well as OSHA rules and regulations and company compliance. FleetNet's management of the vendors and maintenance process allows management to see "where the money is going." Each invoice is audited for accuracy and compliance. The TMcare program allows consolidated billing, interfacing. with the customer's cost tracking system as well as dollar level thresholds for estimates and approvals. Seamless integration with the nation’s leading satellite communications provider for the transportation industry also allows drivers to communicate breakdown needs efficiently and effectively. The partnerships we have solidified over the years assist companies with the same service and benefits regardless of the size of their fleet. FleetNet’s technology is another major competitive advantage. A few examples include automated email notifications & reporting; interactive secured web environment; interfaces with 3rd party maintenance software, as well as, customer in-house software; alert customization; integrated electronic billing and intuitive reporting & analysis.

FleetNet AmericaFleetNet is responsible for the management of over 200,000 events annually. This enables us to gather significant data on all types of system and component failures. These failures can be sorted, grouped and layered in many ways, such as by location, customer size and type of operation — long or short haul — and equipment make and model. With this information, customers can prevent future breakdowns by changing their engine parameters and spec’ing their equipment differently.

FleetNet's success is due to the vision of one of the industry's leaders, Oren Summer, who has been with the company from the beginning. Oren served as Chairman of the TMC (Technology and Maintenance Council) in 1996. Another career milestone was when CCJ Magazine awarded Oren the prestigious "Career Leadership Award" for 2005.

FleetNet currently services over 1500 trucking companies and 4 OEM’s. Service is provided via a flat rate per occurrence fee.
