FleetNet Promotes Four Including Two Vice President Positions

Press Release – (CHERRYVILLE, NC, March 9, 2014) – FleetNet America Inc., a leading provider of maintenance and repair services for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, announced several promotions last week effective immediately. 

Bryan Johnson has been promoted to Vice President of Roadside and IT Operations. Mr. Johnson has been with FleetNet since 2007 in numerous technical and management positions. His extensive technical and managerial background has propelled the company in deploying innovative and robust solutions designed to further efficiency and resiliency required by the company. Bryan has consistently proven himself in areas of project management, development, technical and management skills. He will have responsibility for management and coordination of the Roadside and IT departments.

Stephen Crane has been promoted to Vice President of TMcare®. Mr. Crane has been with FleetNet since 2007 as Director of TMcare® and demonstrated the highest level of leadership and management of staff through aggressive periods of growth. Stephen was employed with Carolina Freight Carriers for over 15 years in numerous management positions beginning with terminal manager and working up to managing the largest facilities in Carolina’s system and other responsibilities at the corporate facility in Cherryville, NC. 

Just prior to joining FleetNet, Stephen held various management positions with several trucking companies resulting in positive growth of sales and productivity. He is responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the day to day operations of TMcare® in its entirety. Gary Cummings stated, “Stephen’s proven track record of managing TMcare® is an incredible foundation of success. TMcare® will grow in capabilities and statue with Stephen’s leadership.” 

Evan Costner has been promoted to Senior Director of Roadside Operations and will report to Bryan Johnson. Mr. Costner has been with FleetNet since 1997 and has been a major contributor in the success of Roadside. Evan is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the day to day operations in Roadside including customer and vendor interactions. 

Sly Bericic has been promoted to Director of Software Development and will continue to report to Bryan Johnson. Sly has been with FleetNet since 2011 and has been a major contributor in his current Manager of Software Development role to our software development initiatives and the company’s forward progress in efficiencies and productivity improvements across all departments. He is responsible for the internal software development and integration teams and focused on the continuous development of internally used applications throughout our business processes as well as building and maintaining system integrations with customer and vendor 3rd party software platforms.
